Airlines & Direct Destinations from Hamburg

Hamburg Airport is the largest hub in northern Germany. In the summer 2026 schedule, Hamburg Airport connects around 120 direct destinations, served by approximately 55 airlines – from city breaks within Europe to classic beach destinations in the Mediterranean through to long-haul routes to the Persian Gulf.

Direct destinations in the Mediterranean

  • Balearics & Spain: Palma de Mallorca and Ibiza (Eurowings, Condor, Marabu and others).
  • Canary Islands: Tenerife and Gran Canaria in around 5 hours (Condor, Eurowings, Marabu).
  • Greece (seasonal): Heraklion/Crete, Rhodes and Kos (Condor, Eurowings, Marabu, Sundair, Corendon).
  • Turkey: Antalya several times daily (SunExpress, Pegasus, Corendon, Freebird).
  • Egypt: Hurghada on the Red Sea (Condor, Eurowings, Sundair, Corendon, Air Cairo).

Long-haul & connecting flights

  • Dubai: nonstop with Emirates in around 7:10 hours, from summer 2026 up to twice daily – also ideal as a connection onwards to the Maldives or Thailand.
  • Amman: new nonstop connection with Royal Jordanian as a gateway to the Middle East and Asia.
  • Long-haul destinations such as Thailand or the Maldives can be reached from Hamburg conveniently with one stopover at an international hub.
